Earth Science Chapters

In this chapter we study the birth of Astronomy as a science, and investigate the people that contributed to the science of space. We explore the contributions of the ancient Sumerians of Mesopotamia to those of Galileo and Newton. The properties of all of our planets are described in great detail, including the very real deep space threat from meteors, asteroids and comets.
